Payment: We require prompt payment in full and this will be requested upon the completion of any repairs carried out.
Ways To Pay: We accept Cash, Card or direct payment by bank transfer. Please note!! If you purchase any specialist parts these will need paying for in advance and unfortunately there will be no refund if these parts cannot be returned. Card payments incur a processing fee of 1%.
Repair Guarantee: We guarantee all our work in line with a Common Sense warranty. As our client and as would we, you should expect a repair or service to be done to our highest standards guarantee. You should also expect it to last a reasonable amount of time, within your rights. Therefore if at any point you are not satisfied with our work, you should contact us immediately to discuss your issues and we will try resolve these issues amicably. In return we do not expect you to try ask us to take responsibility for any intent caused by yourselves whilst riding, for example an accident or MTB damage caused on the trails. We can tell if the damage was caused by a mechanical failure due to our repairs so please don't try it on. Respect works both ways!!
Extra Charges: We do charge a minimum call out fee of £10.00. This will not be added to the invoice if your repair or our labour comes to a total of £20.00. Please note we do charge a fee of £1 per mile for anywhere beyond a 5 mile radius of Bracknell town centre. Please take this into consideration when enquiring for repairs. If we feel that the cost of the call out will way super seed the repair we will advise on a repair service closer to yourselves. Please note that if we determine your bike is too dirty for inspection, we will give it a 'vélo valet clean and ride' wash before starting any work. This will be at a reduced cost of £20.00 and added to your final invoice.
Bookings: As an exclusive service we dedicate our time to your bike only. As we hope you can appreciate though, in some cases repair work may over run. This could cause your booking time slot to be pushed back (in some cases this could mean by a day or 2). We strive to keep this to a minimum as time keeping is one of our main qualities as a business. If this does happen though we will contact you at the earliest opportunity and keep you up to date on our revised time. Our aim is for you to feel like we are your personal bike technician.
Warranty: We will give any work carried out a 30 day warranty for any defects caused by our repair. We also endeavour to give you as our client a professional job carried out to a professional standard. The warranty is subject to appropriate use and only covers part or repairs done by ourselves and does not cover wear and tear or damage caused by yourselves due to accident or over enthusiastic use on the trails.
Working on your premises: We endeavour to carry out all work with the minimalist disruption to you our client. However, we expect the customer to have a suitable and safe place to work on the bike. (This should be an area like a garage or somewhere outside where the client is happy for us to work). If we believe the premises are not suitable and or safe we will take the bike back to our workshop. If the service is to be done inside we will take all precautions to protect flooring from spillages by covering the floor and any other furnishings. If we carry out work on your premises we must insist due to health and safety risks, that the premises are free of any pets or children. We will not put ourselves at risk of harm or injury. This means a full risk assessment will be carried out prior to any repairs or servicing, we are not obliged to do a service or repair if we deem there to be any risks.
